The Tundra glaze takes its colour and finish from the sun-bleached shards of worn dolerite and other rock scattered across Tasmania's central plateau: rusty orange, pale browns, and lots of texture. The glaze is built around that same fractured, layered quality, no two pieces repeating identically, this glaze is the most variegated in the collection. It's the ground that Tasmania's alpine natives thrive in: I love that striking contrast between hard broken rock and the life that pushes through it.
Each rim is individually hand-trimmed to a fine edge; sized for a short black, macchiato or a small piccolo.
